Rasmus Bofill, Denmark, and Patrick Schmücking, Germany, tied for the lowest score of the day after both shooting five-under-par rounds of 67.
England and Switzerland occupy fifth and sixth positions on five and seven-over par respectively, while Ireland sit seventh on eight-over-par.
The battle for the top-eight is hotly contested. Italy, Austria, and Belgium are tied on nine-over-par. Tied for eleventh are the hosts, the Czech Republic, France, and Finland, who all sit just two shots further back on 11-over-par.
