Lucie Malchirand has won the 91st Portuguese International Ladies' Amateur Championship at Montado Golf Resort.
The French player, who represented the Continent of Europe in the 2019 Junior Vagliano Trophy, was one of the favourites heading into the week.
Currently 22nd in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, Malchirand was the highest ranked played in the field besides defending champion, Alessia Nobilio.
The four-round stroke play event, organised by the Portuguese Golf Federation, is regularly ranked as one of the strongest amateur championships on the continent.
Originally scheduled for 10 to 13 February, the event was postponed (due to Covid-19 related public health measures in Portugal) to take place from 12 to 15 May.

Despite just one player from Great Britain & Ireland on the starting list (due to Covid-19 related travel restrictions), the event attracted a strong international field with 105 ladies representing 18 different countries.
After opening with a 73 (+1) in round one, Malchirand recovered with a six-under-par 66 on day two, the lowest score of the tournament. The French player would follow up with a 67 (-5) on day three and a bogey-free 68 (-4) in the final round to post a 14-under-par total and claim a four-stroke victory.
The victory marks the second time this season a French player has won an international event, after Charlotte Liautier won the Italian International Ladies' Amateur Championship in March.
Malchirand's compatriot, Vairana Heck, finished runner-up with a total of -10, while Spain's Andrea Revuelta Goicoechea finished third on -8.
Czech player, Jana Melichova and Swiss player, Caroline Sturdza completed the top-five just one shot further back on -7.
