Switzerland topped the stroke play qualification after two days of play at ROSA Private Golf Club, Poland, in the European Amateur Team Championship, Division 2.
Jeremy Freiburghaus lead the way for the Swiss team, finishing second in the individual rankings on nine-under-par with rounds of 65 (-7) and 70 (-2).
Slovenia will be seeded second in the flight A match play, they finished one shot behind Switzerland's total of eight-under-par. The team was lead by Zan Luka Stirn, who claimed the individual ranking after rounds of 68 (-4) and 66 (-6).
Wales and Belgium, who were both relegated from the European Amateur Team Championship last year, filled the last two spots in Flight A and will have a chance to secure promotion in the match play stages.
The semi-final match ups tomorrow are Switzerland vs. Belgium and Slovenia vs. Wales.
Three of the four teams in Flight A will earn a spot at next year's European Amateur Team Championship, meaning a win today would guarantee promotion.
