The European Championship for Golfers with Disability will take place at Troia Golf in Portugal this week in what will be the first edition of the event with the involvement of the EGA.

The last edition of the championship took place at Barbora Golf Resort, Czech Republic. In the men's, Charles-Henri Quelin, France, and Juan Postigo, Spain, whose teams finished with the same score after three days of play in last year's European Team Championship for Golfers with Disability, tied for first place. Mette Wegge Lynggaard from Denmark triumphed in the ladies' competition.

68 golfers will take on Troia this week, a course designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior that was recently ranked 17th in the top-100 courses of Continental Europe.

EUROPEAN MID-AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP - BlackSeaRama, Bulgaria 7-9 June

79 golfers will compete for the title of European Mid-Amateur Champion in Bulgaria this week.

BlackSeaRama, which is celebrating its 10 year anniversary, will provide the test this week. The course, which offers stunning views of the Black Sea, was designed by Gary Player and has previously hosted three different European Team Championships.
