Conditions were calm once again on day two at Royal Bled Golf in Slovenia, although players had to contest with fast and undulating greens on the King's Course, which has made scoring difficult all week.
MEN
Mattias Pernheden (pictured below) leads the European Senior Men's Championship. The Swedish player shot the best score of the tournament so far, a one-under-par 71, to top the leader board by two shots heading into the final day.
Pernheden navigated the back nine, which has been the more difficult side this week, in level-par to improve on his first round score of 78 (+6) by seven shots.
Martin Birkholz from Germany shot a 73 (+1) to claim the second lowest score of the day and hold second position outright.
Two players are currently tied for third position on eight-over-par, Italy's Filippo Clerici, and Denmark's Hans Peter Jacobsen.
There is still all to play for on the final day as 11 players find themselves within six shots of the lead. Six different nationalities are represented in the top-12, but the Italian contingent arguably has the best chance of securing a medal, with three players in the top-seven.
LADIES
Defending champion Susanne Lichtenberg (pictured below) leads the European Senior Ladies' Championship with one round to play. The German player shot a 79 (+7) to sit at 13-over-par.
Lichtenberg will attempt to become the second German player to successfully defend the trophy after Rita Ruland in 1999.
Two Spanish players are tied on 16-over-par in second place, Macarena Campomanes and Maria De Oureta. The former shot the lowest score of the day in the ladies' category, a four-over-par 76, to climb 17 spots from day one.
