Belgium have won the European Amateur Team Championship, Division 2, at ROSA Private Golf Club in Poland.
After qualifying in the fourth and final spot for the Flight A match play, they would go on to defeat number-one seeds, Switzerland in the semi-finals and Slovnia 4-3, in a very tight final to claim the title.
In the all-important match for third place, where the winner earns promotion to the European Amateur Team Championship, Wales defeated Switzerland 5-2.
The top three teams, Belgium, Slovenia, and Wales, have all earned promotion to next year's division 1 event, to be held at Ljunghusen GC, Sweden.
