Celia Barquin has won the European Ladies' Amateur Championship at Penati Golf Resort, Slovakia.
The Spanish player holed a 2.5m downhill putt on the 18th green to card a final round 69 (-3) and win by one stroke over Germany's Esther Henseleit.
After a course-record, nine-under-par round of 63 on day three, Barquin held a two-shot lead over Germany's Esther Henseleit with 18 holes left to play.
A heavy thunderstorm halted play halfway through leaders' round on day four, at which point Barquin's advantage was three strokes.
A late charge from Henseleit with birdies on the 16th and 17th holes meant Barquin's lead was trimmed to just a single stroke on the 18th tee. After both players made par, Barquin was confirmed as the third Spanish winner of the event in the span of five years.
After bogeying the 18th in round two, Barquin completed the last 36 holes of the event without a single blemish, and with 12 birdies.
As a result of the win, Barquin will be invited to the 2019 Ricoh Women's British Open.
Italian players, Angelica Moresco and Alessia Nobilio both finished tied for third on nine-under-par, although Moresco took home the bronze medal on countback.
Defending champion, Agathe Laisne, seemed to be mounting a charge, climbing to sixth place after three rounds. A disappointing final day score of 77 (+5), however, would leave her in 15th position.
