Croatia and Poland topped the stroke play qualifying stage of the European Team Shield Championships at Riverside Golf Zagreb.
In the men's event, the hosts, Croatia scored a total of one-over-par (three best of the team's four scores) to earn themselves the number-one seed for the Flight A matchplay.
Vasileios Kympakis shot the lowest score of the day, a four-under-par 68, to help his team qualify in second position.
The top-eight teams from the stroke play qualify for Flight A and will have a chance to win medals over the next three days of matchplay. They are:
- Croatia
- Greece
- Malta
- Hungary
- Bulgaria
- Cyprus
- Liechtenstein
- Lithuania
In the Ladies' event, Poland had the lowest team total with 15-over-par. Serbia's Jefimija Dordevic carded the lowest individual score of the day, a one-over-par 73.
