Venues Changed - 2021 European Amateur & Girls Team Championships

The venues of the 2021 European Amateur and European Girls’ Team Championships have been changed.

The events, originally scheduled for Vasatorp Golf Club in Sweden (men) and Hliversumsche Golf Club in the Netherlands (girls) on 6-10 July have been moved to alternate venues due to Covid-19 related local and travel restrictions in the two countries.

“Unfortunately, we have to tell you that the European Girls’ Team Championship and the European Amateur Team Championship have to be relocated.” Said EGA President Haukur Örn Birgisson and EGA General Secretary, Michael Thannhäuser in a joint statement.

“Our special gratitude goes to the Dutch Golf Federation and the Swedish Golf Federation who tried everything to make these two Team Championships possible. We will be delighted to welcome them as future hosts.”

“The Royal Spanish Federation and the Portuguese Golf Federation have offered two wonderful venues close to Barcelona and Lisbon respectively, and they look forward to hosting all participating teams. We are enormously grateful for their wonderful support.”
