The Ukrainian Golf Federation (UGF) Fund will continue to run in 2024.
Set up by the EGA in 2022 to help Ukrainian players compete in international golf championships, the UGF Fund has raised nearly 70,000 euros since its inception.
Since the start of the war, the majority of the state funding for the UGF has been directed to help the efforts of the Ukrainian army, making it almost impossible for elite Ukrainian golfers to compete internationally.
Across the last two seasons, the UGF Fund has enabled the participation of Ukrainian players at 10 different events including in the European Amateur Championship, European Ladies’ Amateur Championship, World Amateur Team Championships, European Young Masters and European Team Shield Championships.
Donations to the fund remain open, with the goal of continuing to enable international participation by Ukrainian athletes in 2024, and can be made by bank transfer with the details, or via the link, below:
